I am a mom, homeschooler, gardener, cook, and a yoga teacher, and I depend on a regular yoga practice to keep me balanced and help me try to bring peace and purposefulness to all I do.
When I do yoga, I have a feeling of ease and lightness—freedom—within me. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping students find that same feeling for themselves.
For the past 10 years, I have been helping students listen inwardly, move and breathe more freely. My classes emphasize choosing and adapting yoga poses, breathing and meditation to best support students as individuals.
I continue to study, work with a mentor and do my own daily yoga practice to further develop as a teacher and student.
