Beginning July 2018, Zoe is offering a combined Yoga Studies and Yoga Teacher Training Program.

If you are interested in having a deeper knowledge of yoga and a rich experience of yoga practice, this is the training for you.

Choose from two options:

Option 1 - July to November 2018 - 100 Hour Yoga Studies Certificate

Now you can take a 100-hr professional course to study yoga.

You'll learn:

  • Yoga Postures - Functions, Instructions and Modifications for Four Main Types of Yoga Poses (35 hrs)
  • Basic Yoga Breathing Practices for health and balancing energy (10 hrs)
  • Meditation in the Yoga Tradition (5 hrs)
  • Yoga Anatomies - the Pancamaya and Prana Vayu Models of Anatomy (5 hrs)
  • Highlights from the Yoga Sutra, Chapters 1 and 2 (12 hrs)
  • Chanting - Yoga Sutra and Mantra selections (3)
  • Reflections/Discussions on Yoga Practice and its Effects  (5)
  • Mentoring (5 hours) and Personal Yoga Practice

Option 2 - July 2018 to May 2019 - 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program

In the 200 Hour Teacher Training Program, you'll begin with the 100 Hour Yoga Studies Certification, and continue to study yoga to learn and polish the teaching skills which qualify you to lead others in group yoga classes.

The 200 Hour Teacher Training Program will meet on the following weekends:


In addition to topics covered in the 100-Hour Yoga Studies program, you'll learn:

  • Yoga Poses - Inversion Postures, and Teaching Methodology for Yoga Poses (30 hrs)
  • Additional Yoga Breathing Practices and Teaching Techniques (10 hrs)
  • Guiding a Meditation Practice (5 hrs)
  • Yoga Anatomies - Applications in Planning a Yoga Practice (15 hrs)
  • Yoga Sutra, Further Studies in Chapters 1 and 2 (5 hrs)
  • Chanting - Yoga Sutra and Mantra selections (3)
  • Teaching Skills - Observing and Interacting with Students (5 hrs)
  • Teaching Skills - How to Plan and Lead Yoga Classes (15 hrs)
  • Teaching Skills - Ethics and Business Practices for Yoga Teachers (5 hrs)
  • Teaching Practicum - Observing Classes and Supervised Teaching (10 hrs)
  • Mentoring (5 hours) and Continued Personal Yoga Practice

Upon completion of the 200 Hour Teacher Training Program, graduates will be qualified to teach group yoga classes and be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).

We will meet one weekend of each month (dates listed in information booklet), Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

9:15 am - Discussion of Practice Techniques, Effects

10:00 am - Philosophy: The Pancamaya Model

12:00 pm - Lunch

1:00 pm - Group Chanting/Mantra Practice

1:30 pm - Highlights from the Yoga Sutra: Introduction, What is Yoga?

3:00 pm - Yoga Techniques: Types of Yoga Poses and their Basic Functions

4:30 pm - Group Experience: Exploring Functions of Yoga Poses

5:45 pm - Group Evening Practice



Each Segment is $1,000, payable in full before the program begins, or with a $200 non-refundable deposit and $200 monthly payments due the first of each month.
